Jin Kei Do Reiki is a natural healing energy activated by intention. It works on every level, not just the physical. It was developed in Japan and means Universal Energy. Jin Kei Do Reiki is a non-invasive, non-diagnostic and non-manipulative but powerful therapy that aims to restore balance to the body by holistic means. It may be performed with the hands held over the body, or by the use of touch, (with prior permission).
What Happens During A Consultation?
The initial consultation may take up to 75 minutes and sessions thereafter are around 50-60minutes.
The session is performed in a calming environment with the recipient lying on a comfortable couch, or sat in a chair. The therapist then places the hands over the body and the receiver draws in only the energy they require. The whole process is performed fully clothed as the energy will pass though most things quite easily, even plaster casts on broken limbs.
The frequency of visits will depend on your condition and recovery.
We have a very strong commitment to client aftercare. With this in mind, after your course of treatment, you will be offered an appointment for six weeks time for a check-up and 'tweeking' if required. The receptionist will then make an appointment for three or six months time for another precautionary check to sort out problems before they get chance to become serious again. (Rather like the six month check given by dentists).
