What is Aromatherapy Massage?

Aromatherapy massage is the use of scented essential oils in a holistic massage. I do not use air diffusers for the oils in my practice. They are oil used

these oils are used in aromatherapy massage

in the massage oils.

Essential Oils

The essential oils I use are ready blended by an expert company. This is to ensure consistency of quality of the massage oil. So on subsequent visits you are assured the same oil with the same ingredients are used during your massage.

Essential oils and aroma-therapeutic massage does not involve any drugs or unnatural substances. The products I use are 100% natural and an average blend is 95% organic.

You get a consistent benefit with the direct skin contact and absorption with the essential oils. But also healing properties from the inhaling of them after your massage.

What are the benefits of an Aromatherapy Massage?

Aroma-therapeutic massage have the full effects a full body massage. Added to that are the therapeutic effects of the aromatic essential oils. Essential Oils can make people feel good.

There is clear evidence of essential oils aid people in their healing process.

So far the dangers of oils arise only when clients are allergic to them (which is not common). The oils I use are the least allergenic possible.

What to expect in an Aromatherapy Massage?

If you have a specific problem you want to address. I like to have a free consultation with you over the phone, or in my Dartford office, before you book in. It is vital to make sure that aromatherapy is going to help you before you book in.

If you are needing deep tissue work or lymphatic drainage during the massage, I must know this in advance.

If you want a relaxing, balancing or energising session then we can make the appointment straight away. See the options futher down the page.

You will be under a double thickness sheet for the massage. Only the area being massaged is exposed at any one time. The room is always very warm for these massages. But if you want a large thick towel over the sheet for extra warmth – ask for one.

I first massage the back and shoulders; then the backs of the legs. Then I ask you to turn over and I massage the front of the legs, your arms, abdomen, upper chest, neck and shoulders.
